The Myth of the Kindly General Lee
jimsouth replied to benson13's topic in No Holds Barred Political Forum
The point I'm trying to make is, slavery is slavery is slavery; and the Irish suffered the same indignities as black slaves. Often even worse. So teach it all, or teach nothing. -

Indentured servants you say. If so, it looks like the indentured servant requirements were pretty fucking tough. Whenever they rebelled or even disobeyed an order, they were punished in the harshest ways. Slave owners would hang their human property by their hands and set their hands or feet on fire as one form of punishment. They were burned alive and had their heads placed on pikes in the marketplace as a warning to other captives. -

White Slavery: The Irish Slaves That Time Forgot ... Liberal 101 - - - they were white, so, shhhhhh. Don't want to level the field on the true reality of slavery in the Americas. If it's not mentioned or taught, it never happened. -

Life certainly ain't fair. If a planter whipped or branded or beat an Irish slave to death, it was never a crime. A death was a monetary setback, but far cheaper than killing a more expensive African. -

African slaves were very expensive during the late 1600s (50 Sterling). Irish slaves came cheap (no more than 5 Sterling). If a planter whipped or branded or beat an Irish slave to death, it was never a crime. A death was a monetary setback, but far cheaper than killing a more expensive African. OK Buckwheat, get the fuck in line. -

I want my reparations from England, the Colonies, Caribbean Islands, and South American countries, for the enslavement of my Irish ancestors. Slavery is slavery is slavery. -

Can you elaborate on the lung cleaning treatment thing. Details? -
I actually think Biddle ( the Civil Wars first casualty ) was hit with a brick. No shot fired.

A black guy who lived next door to me in Pottsville, told me, the War on Poverty turned his granddaughter into a welfare whore. 4 kids from 4 different men. I remember him working 3 different jobs. When he told me, I could see the spirit had been drained from him. If anything, the War on Poverty is what Blacks should be up in arms over.

The first Civil War casualty is buried a few miles from me. Black guy - I believe Nicholas Biddle. Tiny cemetery in Pottsville. Seen his grave many times. Nick Biddle: A Forgotten Hero of the Civil War | PHMC ... www.phmc.state.pa.us/.../nick-biddle-forgotten-hero-civil-war.html Nick Biddle: A Forgotten Hero of the Civil War. Pottsville, Schuylkill County, resident Nicholas Biddle (circa 1796-1876) was immortalized by a carte de visite for being "the first man wounded in the Great American Rebellion, Baltimore, April 18,1861.".

An evil man; but a piker compared to other conquerors.

He also had only one testicle; so anyone tells you he had balls, their lying.

I watched clowns kick & spit on an inanimate object. Probably showing off in front of a girl friend. I'm a man.
