Right.  Lewinsky is the only stain on Bill Clinton's legacy.

It was the only affair that normal people gave a shit about, Limbaugh fans had tons of meaningless accusations.

He mongered no wars, he left the country better off financially.

Compared to OleBush and Juniorbush he was far, far more successful.

He mongered no wars,

Did you forget the War in Kosovo?

That was a war that was completely “mongered” by the Clintons.

It was nothing but a wag the dog war instigated SOLELY to take the Cox Report and Chinagate off the front page.
The reasons for invasion were completely bogus … fabricated.

History has proven this.
Clinton and his spokespersons claimed the Yugoslav Government rejected all attempts to negotiate an agreement on the future of Kosovo. He told America the Rambouillet Accords had been offered to the Yugoslavs and rejected, leaving NATO no option but to start aerial bombardment. That was an outright lie.
Clinton then tried to force a treaty down the throat of the Milosevic that no leader in the world would have signed.  NOT A ONE.  And having given the Serbs no choice but to reject the treaty, Clinton and Clark then rained death on them.   Albright, who was Albanian, assured Clinton that Milosevic would surrender after a few nights of bombing.
But it didn't turn out that way, did it?
As bad as that lie was, to further justify this travesty in the American public's eye, the Clinton administration started a genocide meme. Nothing short of a lie.   "Monger"ing at it's worst.  Prior to hostilities, US Defense Secretary William Cohen came out and claimed "we've now seen about 100,000 military-aged men missing . . . they may have been murdered". David Scheffer, the US ambassador-at-large for war crimes, announced that as many as "225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59" may have been killed." And this meme was pushed over and over by the friendly liberal media.   But what did they find after the war?
First, NATO reported that 2000 people had been killed in Kosovo on all sides in the year prior to the bombing. ALL SIDES.  And in a Senate Committee briefing, the Clinton administration stated that about 2000 people, including 700 Serbs, were killed in the year before the bombing. That hardly qualifies as one side committing genocide as was repeated over and over by the Clinton Administration and leftist press.   There was no genocide.  In other words, Clinton and his lackeys LIED.
The Wall Street Journal published an article (https://www.wsj.com/...593838546941319 ) titled "Despite Tales, the War in Kosovo Was Savage, but Wasn't Genocide" with the results of its own investigation. They didn't find "huge killing fields" but a "pattern is of scattered killings (mostly) in areas where the separatist Kosovo Liberation Army had been active". There was no genocide.
And the International War Crimes Tribunal (basically a NATO body) announced that the final count of bodies in Kosovo's "mass graves" was 2,788. And this number included combatants on both sides plus Serbs and others (like Romas) murdered by the KLA.   Again, there was no genocide.
Bill Clinton himself had justified the bombing of Yugoslavians by referring to a "massacre" where Serbian police allegedly lined up Albanians in a ditch and shot them. The alleged incident occurred at Racak on January 15th when the Serbian police forces were accompanied for the entire day by an Associated Press TV crew and two journalists, who saw no such massacre. The television footage shows Serbian police entering an empty town that was controlled by the KLA, engaging in a fierce battle with the KLA, who were dug into hillside trenches and then withdrawing from the town in the afternoon. Remaining KLA members then returned to the town where no bodies were seen by them or the few citizens that were there. The bodies appeared with little blood or cartridges the next day in trenches. The "massacre" was announced by Clinton administration official William Walker, whose account was denounced by French news sources, Le Figaro and Le Monde, based on the evidence they reported. Belarus and Finnish forensic experts who came to Yugoslavia could not verify the claims of massacre.
Thus, America entered a preemptive war against Yugoslavians to stop a genocide from occurring based on nothing more than false reports about a staged event.    The truth is the Clinton administration deliberately lied because they needed a pretext to start a wag the dog conflict to take treason off the front page of America's papers.  Americans who believed this lie should forever be ashamed.
There wasn't even ethnic cleansing going on. I find it interesting how Democrats chose to ignore the fact that at the start of WWII, Kosovo was over 60% Serbian. During the war, Albania fought with the Axis powers and with Nazi help "ethnically cleansed" Kosovo of Serbs, killing 140,000.  Then, in the years after that, it was the Albanians in Kosovo who had been doing the terrorizing and ethnic cleansing.  Didn't those of you who supported Clinton’s war ever wonder how Albanians became 90% of the populace?   The answer is simple and documented ... by illegal immigration and by terrorizing the legal serb citizens who lived there until they were forced to flee.  And the Albanians continued the same ethnic cleansing AFTER the war ... only this time with NATO's help.   And all of this is equally provable.
The Kosovo war was pointed to by Democrats and NATO as a great victory.  Even as late as last year, Democrats had to be very careful not to criticize the Kosovo War since Hillary appears to have been the person who convinced a reluctant Bill to bomb Kosovo.   She proudly told Talk magazine that “I urged him to bomb, I supported him.”   She said she told him “you can’t let this ethnic cleansing go on at the end of the century that has seen the Holocaust.”  And all the administration’s analysts expected a cakewalk.
But it wasn’t. It lasted 78 days instead of a few days. SEVENTY-EIGHT days surely is a WAR, XO.

And from the beginning, the war went badly. General Mike Short, commander of the allied forces, said “The Serbs dictated the pace of events, they dictated the battle rhythm.”  In the three months of NATO's air assault, NATO dropped more explosives on Yugoslavia than on either Japan or Germany during any comparable period in World War II … and destroyed (according to post war analysis) just 13 of the 300 tanks that were in Kosovo (even though a month into the war NATO had claimed it destroyed hundreds). At one point the JCS and DoD claimed they destroyed 120 tanks, 220 APCs and 450 artillery pieces during a certain time period, yet a Newsweek article a year after the war found that only 14 tanks, 18 APCs and 20 artillery pieces were destroyed, which is pretty close to the estimate that the Serbs themselves gave during that time period. Overall during the war, just 93 tanks were hit (out of about 600) and only 26 of those were totally destroyed. Most of the bombs actually fell on decoys. In fact, Serb military targets were so difficult to find that on some days half the bombs were disposed of in “dump sites”, known to be empty, for unused ordinance. NATO claimed the Serb army’s morale was crumbling, but when the Serbs finally withdrew after months IN GOOD ORDER from underground bunkers in Kosovo, the media witnessed convoys of tanks, armored cars, artillery and anti-aircraft pieces, etc … all untouched by NATO bombing. Even NATO was shocked.

As to losses by NATO, let’s start with the $100 million F-117 Stealth fighter the Serbs brought down. Beyond that, NATO claimed minimal losses while the Serbs claim significant NATO losses. Moscow reported that NATO lost over 400 soldiers and over 60 aircraft. Sure, Serbia and Moscow had motive to inflate numbers, but NATO is proven to have lied about other things so perhaps they lied about their losses too. Who knows the real story? What we do know is that NATO kept it’s aircraft at high altitude probably because of the threat environment. What we do know is that the Army spent a half billion dollars sending several dozen Apache attack helicopters to Albania and then never used them out of fear they’d be lost. This was supposed to be the most lethal and least vulnerable helicopter in the world and yet we feared losing them? Something caused this concern.

In any case, the war was going so badly that NATO finally realized that to oust Serbia from Kosovo they either had to invade (and probably lose thousands or tens of thousands of soldiers) or commit enough war crimes (bombing civilians) to demoralize Serbia. They chose the later and beat the drums again. They made repeated false claims about more atrocities committed by the Serbs. They continued the chants about genocide and ethnic cleansing, all the while knowing they were lies. All to get the complicit media and gullible public to accept what amounted to war crimes … attacking civilians.
Listen to what Thomas Friedman said in a New York Times article on 4/23/99:

Let's at least have a real air war. The idea that people are still holding rock concerts in Belgrade, or going out for Sunday merry-go-round rides, while their fellow Serbs are "cleansing" Kosovo, is outrageous. It should be lights out in Belgrade: Every power grid, water pipe, bridge, road and war-related factory has to be targeted. Like it or not, we are at war with the Serbian nation (the Serbs certainly think so), and the stakes have to be very clear: Every week you ravage Kosovo is another decade we will set your country back by pulverizing you. You want 1950? We can do 1950. You want 1389? We can do 1389 too

And here's what that populist Bill O'Reilly on Fox said on 4/26/99:

If NATO is not able to wear down this Milosevic in the next few weeks, I believe that we have to go in there and drop leaflets on Belgrade and other cities and say, "Listen, you guys have got to move because we're now going to come in and we're going to just level your country. The whole infrastructure is going." Rather than put ground forces at risk where we're going to see 5,000 Americans dead, I would rather destroy their infrastructure, totally destroy it. Any target is OK. I'd warn the people, just as we did with Japan, that it's coming, you've got to get out of there, OK, but I would level that country so that there would be nothing moving--no cars, no trains, nothing.

So General Wesley Clark's NATO forces had the green light to deliberately bomb schools, hospitals, irrigation networks, bridges, markets, residential neighborhoods, power plants, heating plants, gas stations, and factories turning out such products as farming equipment, cigarettes, sugar products and baby food. ALL of which they did. After attacking a bridge deep in Serbia (far from Kosovo) causing civilian cars to fall into the river, they went back and attacked the rescue workers even though they were clearly identified as such. They attacked columns of refugees multiple times and then lied about the incidents at news conferences. The list of war crimes went on and on and on. They even hit the Chinese embassy, setting it on fire and killing 3 of its citizens.
Consider the bombing of Radio Television Serbia (RTS) on April 22. NATO spokesman Jamie Shea had stated on April 12 that "television and radio towers are only struck if they are integrated into military facilities." But RTS studios played no military role. Bombing RTS was a war crime which resulted in the deaths of at least sixteen civilians (including hair stylists). The truth is they bombed that station because it's reporters were taking folks to the sites of other US/NATO war crimes (like the bombing of the refugee convoy) and exposing NATO's dishonesty.
No, on this day, this thread needs a reminder of the REAL legacy of the Clintons.   Americans need a reminder why it’s no coincidence that KLA controlled Kosovo is now Clinton Country.  There’s a 10 foot high statue of Bill overlooking Bill Clinton Boulevard in the capital city of Pristina.   Here is Hillary visiting it in 2010:
And just off the street named for her husband, there is a story named “Hillary”, featuring they type of women’s clothing that Hillary seems to usually wear … including pantsuits.
Now since the war, Hillary has met with the Hashim Thaci, the KLA thug who became the new country’s Prime Minister and then President, multiple times.   I say thug because he was involved in assassinations, drug smuggling, kidnappings  and even human organ trafficking during and after the Kosovo War.  That’s according to many, including former UN War Crimes Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte.   I already posted photos of Hillary and Thaci together earlier in this thread.   Like this one:
But let me add a few more.   Despite his sorbid criminal background, the Clinton Foundation invited Thaci to the 2011 Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting.    And he attended in 2012 and 2013 as well.   The picture above is him sitting next to Hillary at the 2013 meeting … a guest of, from the looks of it, *honor*.
Here’s Bill arm and arm with him at the 2013 GCI meeting:
Obviously, it didn’t matter to the Clintons if the money Thaci donated to the Foundation might be coming from … well … drug or human organ smuggling.  Indeed, in 2012, Thaci’s government even signed a $50,000 a month contract with The Podesta Group … the lobbying firm co founded by John and Tony Podesta.  You know … John Podesta was Hillary’s campaign chairman.  And Tony is a lobbyist that bundled more than a quarter million dollars in campaign contributions for Hillary.  And a 2015 email chain leaked from John Podesta’s account proves the Clintons accepted campaign donations (illegally) from the Thaci’s government.  Robby Mook, Hillary’s campaign manager wrote “I’m ok just taking the money and dealing with any attacks.”   Such is the Clinton Legacy.  In October of 2016, Thaci publicly stated he wanted Hillary to win and advised Albanians to vote for her (http://www.b92.net/e...21&nav_id=99477 ).  You know that old saying folks?  You are the company you keep?  Just saying …
And by the way, Kosovo today?   It’s a terrorist hotbed.   The New York Times recently revealed (https://www.nytimes....-isis.html?_r=1 ) that “Over the last two years, the police have identified 314 Kosovars — including two suicide bombers, 44 women and 28 children — who have gone abroad to join the Islamic State, the highest number per capita in Europe.”  It became one when the Clintons handed Kosovo over to the KLA.   Such is their REAL legacy, XO.
Not that you would ever notice … TRUTHER that you are.

Yes. Were you asleep?

He mongered no wars, he left the country better off financially.
Compared to OleBush and Juniorbush he was far, far more successful.

Yes, his recession, the dot.com bubble, the accounting scandal and 9/11 were WONDERFUL times!!!
And if he were so successful, why does he have no legacy?
